I am not sure that I have the right dates for the right man. More than one Benjamin Lane served for the US in WWII. Other records indicate that Mt. Nebo was or is historically an African American church. These sources may contain information on more than one Benjamin Lane. I was hoping to find the man that was in the 555th Parainfantry Company - The First Black Paratroopers .
