"116 Benjamin Kimball4 (Jonathan3, Benjamin2, Richard1), born in Bradford, MA, 16 May 1697; died 5 Aug 1741; … He lived in the northern part of Haverhill, MA. When the line was run between the two provinces his property fell into New Hampshire, and was in the town now known as Hampstead. Benjamin and (wife) Mary were members of the church in Plaistow or North Haverhill in Nov. 1730. He was the first deacon of the church in Plaistow, being elected 3 Feb 1731. He owned land in Chester, New Hampshire, which he left to his son Moses. … The date of his death is erroneously given on the monument erected to his memory in Plaistow graveyard as 1752."
