"Benjamin Hinckley, son of the second Samuel, resided at West Barnstable on a part of the Hinckley farm. I find no settlement of his estate on the probate records. He was living in 1745, aged 79. He married 27 Dec. 1686, Sarah, daughter of James Cobb. He had nine children, five the record says "dyed", and their names and ages are not recorded, neither do they appear on the church records."
