Benjamin F Evenbeck

Benjamin F Evenbeck, 87, formerly of Fostoria, died at 2:20 p.m. Thursda y, June 24, 2004, in Grand Rapids Care Center, Grand Rapids.

He was born April 18, 1917, in Fostoria to Edward R and Hattie Ann (Hise r) Evenbeck. He married Norma H Kelley Sept. 14, 1941, at First Methodi st Church (now St. Andrew's United Methodist) in Findlay; and she survives.

Also surviving are: a son, Dr. Scott E Evenbeck of Indianapolis, Ind.; a d aughter, Lynne E Long of Grand Rapids; three grandchildren; and three sist ers, Luella Lewis of Findlay, Lucy Reiter of Fostoria, and Margaret Hartm an of Knoxville, Tenn.

He was a U.S Army veteran where he served for three 1/2 years in World W ar II in the South Pacific Theatre, American Division.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostori a, with burial following in Fountain Cemetery where the United Vetera ns of Fostoria will conduct Military Graveside Rites.

Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
