Lodi National Sentinel 18 January 1929 Benjamin B. Brown died at family home in Galt. Benjamin Bradford Brown passed away yesterday at the family home in Galt where he had resided for the past 27 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice F. Brown; a brother, F. P. Brown, Placerville, and ws the uncle of Mrs. S. V. Parker, Carbondale; Mrs. C. Bonetti, Shingle Springs; Mrs. A. W. Wilhelm, Kansas; Mrs. Carl Heuer, Placerville; Miss Jennie Brown, Placerville;; Albert Brown, Frank Brown and Benjamin Brown, all of Placerville. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with services at Liberty Cemetery with Rev. Benjamin Smith officiating. O.H. Wells & Son in charge.

His parents are the George Augustus. Brown (22 July 1823 - 8 Nov 1900) and Catherine F. Brown (11 July 1821 - 8 Nov 1906) buried in the B. B. Brown plot, according to the Galt Area Historical Society http://www.galthistory.org/history/liberty/index.htm
