"Benjamin (Brockett), b 28 May 1697 (?Wallingford Vital Records); …"
"… The births of Benjamin & Josiah (Brockett) were not found by the compiler in Wallingford Vital records, but were so entered in the Brockett Genealogy. On reconsideration, it appears that the birth-date assigned to Benjamin really belongs to his cousin Benjamin, s. of John, and the date of birth of this Benjamin is unknown."

His will mentions his wife Sarah and unnamed children.

Documentary evidence shows that William Brockett (Revolutionary War Veteran, d. Tennessee 1821) was his son, and DNA evidence shows that the same William (and therefore this Benjamin) descended from John Brockett of Wallingford (d. 1689/90).
