    "5. Joseph2 Andrews … settled for a few years in Hartford, where his eldest brother John lived, and Rebecca Andrews owned the Covenant at the Second Church there, 1 Dec. 1678, having a son Joseph baptized that date; and by the record she had another son Joseph baptized 11 July 1680, but this may be an error for Benjamin, as the age at death of the son Joseph would make him born near 1678 and thus indicate his identity with the first child baptized with that name."

    "Benjamin, perhaps the child bapt. (called Joseph) 11 July 1680; d. at Wethersfield in 1719; m. 19 Dec. 1704, Elizabeth _____. Administration was granted on his estate to the widow, 6 Oct. 1719; children named as Joseph (eldest son), Phineas, Timothy, Jemima, and Rebekah Andrews. (Manwaring's Digest, 2:349.)"
