    I, Benjamin Andrus of Southington, in the County of Hartford, in ye Colony of Connecticut, do make this my last will and testament: Item. Unto my wife Elizabeth Andrus I give 1-2 of my moveable estate to her own dispose forever, and the improvement of all my lands, with ye house and barn, during the time of her widowhood. Item. Unto my daughter Joannah Andrus I give ye sum of £20 to be paid when she comes to be of age. Item. Unto my two sons Jonathan and Gideon Andrus I give all my lands and the remainder of my estate whatsoever, real or personal; and what of my real estate I have given to my abovesd. wife for her use and improvement for a time as abovesd., after ye time is expired it shall return unto my two sons Jonathan Andrus and Gideon Andrus, to their heirs and assigns forever. And I do constitute, ordain and appoint my wife Elizabeth Andrus to be my sole executrix.

The sd. will being proved, the same is approved by the Court. And the sd. executrix exhibited an inventory."
