- ↑ Source:Vital records of Weymouth, Massachusetts, to the year 1850, p. 1:218, gives Porter, Nicholas, s. Nicholas and Bathsheba [dup. Bethsheba], [born] Oct. 27, 1699. This suggests her birth would be 1680 or before. Since one sibling, John, was b. 21 Oct 1680, and another, William was born 31 Jan 1678/79, this pushes Bathsheba's birth to before 1678.
