[Note: record of neither birth nor death found, so basis for this is unknown. On p. 39, Randall says she married Elijah Butler, but he is consistently said by various sources to have married Jane Kelley, d/o Duncan Kelley and Jane Sarson (i.e., see Family Genealogies of Source:Banks, Charles Edward. History of Martha's Vineyard, Dukes County, Massachusetts, p. 60, 226. According to Banks, who seems to provide the only significant genealogical coverage of Martha's Vineyard, where Elijah Butler was born and lived until he moved to Farmington, Maine, Elijah's wife Jane, whom he married about 1760, died 1820. Given no sources are cited by Randall, we can only assume she was badly confused.]
