I have particular interest in the CONN Fanily! My GGrandfather was named Harrison Jennings NIX and he married Louiza Penitas (Netie) CONN in StClair County Alabama 15 MAR 1877. This was a large family in the general area of Clear Creek, Etowah County, Alabama. There is today a fairly large CONN Cemetery in that area. I also have the records of her Father James R. CONN, and his service during the Civil war. This is my G(2) -Grandfather and he served not as you would expect, on the side of the South, but he served for the Union Army! Thar means that I had G(2)Grandfathers on both sides of the War.
