Birth date 25th March 1854 in Newberryport, Mass. He lived to be 73 yrs., 10 Mos., 7 days old. Occupation -Retired Soldier U. S. Army. Father John Coughlin born in unknown city in Ireland. Mother Mary Shacy born in unknown city in Ireland. Cause of death: Arteriosclerosis, cerebral with softening of right cerebral hemisphere. Informant is Wilson C. Kessler. Bartholomew died in Letterman General Hospital, California. Bartholomew was buried at Presidio Cemetery, San Francisco CA on the 4th of February 1928. Undertaker-Smiley & Gallagher Co. I believe that the birthplace of the parents is reversed. Note: Frances (wife) is noted that she was married 22 years and it is crossed out to be 16.

Frances died in Sequoia Hospital, Alameda & Whipple Ave., Redwood City, San Mateo, California. Frances was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colna, San Mateo CA on the 24th of August 1966.
