    DIED
    At Newport, on Wednesday evening last, Mr. ___ Peckham, aged 60 years __ going on board of his vessel, at Bannister wharf, late in the night, he walked off the wharf, and was drowned. One other person? who went off with him, was taken up the next morning, and has since recovered. He was a native of Block Island.
