Barbara R Hampshire

Barbara R Hampshire, 75, of 101 Jefferson St, Republic, died Saturday, Fe b. 8, 2003, at Ruffing Family Care Center of Bloomville.

She was born March 15, 1927, in Republic, to Floyd and Luella (Shontz) Hen singer.

On March 20, 1946, she married Norman Hampshire. He died Nov. 28, 1987.

Survivors include: two sons, Nick Hampshire and John Hampshire, both of Re public; a daughter, Kristine Hampshire of Republic; two sisters, Mrs. Kath ryn Bordner of Attica and Mrs. Dorothy Herrin of Clovis, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and John Hensinger.

Mrs. Hampshire was a cook for the Seneca East School District at the Repub lic building for 25 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Repub lic Lions Ladies Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at the Lindsey-Ol ds Funeral Home, 3085 S SR 19 in Bloomville, with the Rev. Rick Prova rd of the Fremont Vineyard Christian Fellowship officiating.

Burial will be in Farewell Cemetery, Republic.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Republic Lions Ladies Auxiliary.
