From Elaine Allen at worldconnect.rootsweb.com EA's grandfather. SS# 520-07-5756 Grandpa worked and owned several sawmills around Newcastle, WY. He went to work at the LAK ranch, east of Newcastle around 1953. He and Grandma moved to Sheridan, Wy about 1960, where he worked on another large ranch until his death. He was irrigating fields, came in for lunch, sat down to rest for a few minutes after they ate and never woke up. He was a large, tall man who never said very much and very soft spoken. All I can remember him doing was working and sitting in the living room listening to the radio or records. I was the oldest grandchild and spent a lot of my summers with them. We all lived closed to Newcastle until 1959 or 60. Now we're all gone from there (1996).
