She married Thomas Coleman Younger (Uncle of the "other" Thomas Coleman Younger, of "James-Younger Gang" fame and also uncle to the Daltons. Reportedly, this was not her only "outlaw" connection. Her sister Mary was the mother of desperado Johnny Ringo, and her mother's brother, Benjamin, was the 2nd husband of Zerelda Elizabeth Cole James.
