His father was August Becker. The cause of death was chronic interstitial nephritis, with pulmonary oedema being a contributary cause. Mrs. Elizabeth Becker, of the same address, was the informant on the Death Certificate.

  13. ↑ In 1920, August Becker, a 70yo tailor b. HESSE-GERMANY, was living in a house he rented at 4216 Lucky Street with his wife Elizabeth, 67yo b. IL, and grandson Harry, 20yo b. MO, a baker in a bread bakery. August says he came to the US in 1866 and became a citizen in 1872.
