Dodge, Ann, wife of Asa Dodge, d. April 8, 1882, ae. 77 years, 8 mos., 4 days. One tombstone for both.
Dodge, Asa, d. Sept. 22, 1853, ae. 55 years, 11 mos. They were the parents of Mrs. Charles Brimmer of Hounsfield.

I used RootsMagic to calculate the possible date of birth for Asa by taking his date of death and subtracted his age at the time of death.

The mention of Mrs. Charles Brimmer of Hounsfield gives some credence to the hypothesis that Asa Dodge was the Lewis Dodge that Ruth Kern's mother had written on the back of a photograph. While documention has not been researched regarding the Ann Brimmer connection to the Dodge family, I feel confident that Asa Dodge is the father of the Dodge women in Watertown, Jefferson, New York.
