Arthur H. SandersS6, 98, of West Lafayette, died June 2, 1990, in Heritage Healthcare where he had been a patient five months. Born Oct. 14, 1891, in Oxford, Mr. Sanders graduated from Oxford High School and attended Valparaiso University. He had lived in Tippecanoe County since 1924. He married Sylvia Mounts on Jan. 18, 1912, in Gladdens Corner. She preceded him in death on March 21, 1981.
Mr. Sanders farmed in Tippecanoe County and was employed for a brief period by TRW Ross Gear Division. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in West Lafayette and was a member of Oxford Christian Church, Pretty Prairie and Number 10 granges, and Battle Ground Saddle Club.
Survivors include a son, Merrill M. Sanders of Lafayette; two daughters, Barbara (Mrs. Floyd) Clymer of Lafayette and Juanita (Mrs. Paul) McClanahan of West Lafayette. Services in Hippensteel Chapel, June 5, the Rev. Hugh Kirby officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
