    OBITUARY.

    Arthur G. Rowles.

Arthur G. Rowles, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Rowles, was born on the farm three miles south of Albia, April 8, 1881 and continued to reside there until he died October 29, 1932, at the age of 51 years, 6 months and 20 days.

He united with the United Brethren church, remembering the creator from the days of his youth, and continued a faithful member. Formany years he was an official in the church.

He was united in marriage with Clarchie Newman October 25, 1906. To this union three children were born: Beth of Washington, D.C., and Wendell and Vern at home. His wife passed away July 7, 1923.

He was united in marriage to Miss Dora Nedderman, May 26, 1928, who with three children, father and mother, two sisters, Mrs. Effie Hall and Mrs. Blanche Dorman of Albia, and many other relatives and numerous friends are left to mourn his sudden departure, but not without hope, for his exemplary life devotion to Christian principles, love and tenderness to his children, kindness and sympathy to his neighbors or anyone in need show to all his splendid Christian faith.

Funeral services were conducted at the United Brethren church Tuesday afternoon by Rev. George Cornford, assisted by Rev. G. E. MacCanon. Burial was in Oak View Cemetery.
