Obituary from Orange County Times-Press, October 29, 1918

Arthur McDole Ellenville, Oct. 28--Arthur McDole, son of George McDole of this village, died at the home of his parents on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 24, at 2 o'clock from typhoid pneumonia, at the age of 21 years. Arthur was a well-known and popular young man, highly esteemed by a circle of young friends who will sincerely mourn his early death. He is survived by his parents who have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement. The funeral was held from the home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
