Died at the residence of her son, E. L. Magee, on Nov. 26, 1914, Mrs. Z. T. Magee, aged 75 years, and one month. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Morris. About fifty-six years ago she was married to the late Z. T. Magee, and to this union was born ten children, J. T. Magee, M. M. Magee, E. L. Magee, J. N. Magee, and Mrs. C. T. Corkern of Franklinton, and Mrs. M. V. Simmons, of Poyner, Texas, living, and four daughters preceded her to the better land. She leaves six children, forty-seven grand-children and five great grandchildren; two brothers, Offie Morris, of Tylertown, Dr. J. P. Morris, of Paris, Texas, and two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Blackwell, of Magnolia, Miss., and Mrs. Edward Pierce, of Dyson, La. She has been a faithful member of the Baptist church since she was a girl. She was buried on the 27th, in the family graveyard. Rev. W. A. Murry conducted the funeral services, which was very solomn and impressive. Mrs. Magee leaves besides her own family a host of friends to mourn her loss, but all who know her faith in Jesus, and her obedient life are satisfied that her soul is with Jesus in “That House not Made with Hands Etarnal in the Heavens.”
