BIOGRAPHY: Greetings William, I am a descendant of Abigail Knight Babcock. I have a list of their children. At her death in 1803 she had left a young family motherless. This gap was filled by Arnold's remarriage to a young woman,20 years younger,a neighbor in Cranston RI, Amy Kimball. They, along with members of her Kimball family moved to the MA Berkshires with Abigail's brother,Richrd(Jr) Knight family. You can identify them on the 1820 Census in a group there. In the next census we se Anrold and Amy, with Amy's Kimball family to Pownal Vermont, where they are seen on the 1840 and 1850 Census images. Court records show the aging Arnold deeding land in early 1850's. He is not on the 1860 Census. Amy states "widow". Arnold is not buried in VT as far as I can determine. I have no date. A professional search of VT burials is negative. He is likely at his dead brother Simeon's MA cemetery plot. Need other info? June
