    This Indenture made this 19th day of March AD 1821 between Isaac Norman, Martin Norman, Armstead Queen & Charlotte Queen his wife, Ephraim Jeffries & Tabetha his wife, William Norman, BaileyNorman of the first part and John Hutson of the other part witneseth? that the said parties of the first part ????? inconsideration of one dollar to them in hand paid by the said John Hutson have granted bargained and sold and hereby do grant bargain and sell to the said John Huston a certain tract or parcel of land situated in the County of Harrison and Commonwealth of Virginia adjoining
    lands of the heirs of Clement Norman Deceased, Holdridge Chidester and others situate on the waters? of Rooting Creek and bounded as followeth as Beginning at a chesnut oak and running North 87 degrees E 135 ½ poles to a gum then from the said Chesnut Beginning S 57 ½ degrees East 85 poles
    to a sugar tree thence North 48 3/4 degrees East 84 poles to the aforsaid gum to being that same tract of land once conveyed to said Hutson by Holdridge Chedester and included in a conveyance from said Huston to Clement Norman deceased. To have and to hold the said land and appurtenances to the said Hutson and his heirs to the use of him and his heirs forever and the said partys of the first
    part will warrant and defend said land to said Hutson and his heirs against themselves their heirs and all remaining? under them. In Witnes whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day & year herein before first mentioned.
