Obituary MRS. GEORGE CAMPANY

 Mrs. Ardell Velton Campany, 80, widow of George Campany, late of Cascade avenue, died in an Ogdensburg hospital last Thursday following a long illness.  The body was brought to the Virkler funeral home late Thursday and was taken Friday afteroon to the home on Cascade avenue.
 Mrs. Campany was born in Croghan, June 21, 1865, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Sebastian Velton.  Her marriage to Mr. Campany took place in Crogham on Jan 1, 1884.  She had been a resident of Lowville for 28 years.  The following children survive, Mrs. John (Elvina) Kahill, Natural Bridge; Mrs. Roy (Eva) Sheldon, Lowville,R.D.; Mrs. Anna Tagaras, Lowville;  Mrs. Roy (Irene) LaVanchard, Watertown; George and Clarence Campany, Lowville and Francis Campany, of Beaver Falls.  There are 28 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, also one sister, Mrs. George Burdick, of Turin.
 The funeral was held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, and the body was placed in the Rural cemetery vault to await burial there next spring.
