Genealogies of the Different Families Bearing the Name of Kent in the United States, Together with Their Possible English Ancestry, p. 50, lists this child as Arach, but has no coverage of him as an adult. So none of the sources seem to agree. However, his brother Isaac named a son Arad, and other Kent families are shown with sons named Arad, so that is presumed to be the intended name despite the various misspellings.
