Maiden name pronounced Skipper. From Parkersburg Eclipse: Funeral services for Mrs. Annie (George) Hulzebos will be held this afternoon, Thursday, at 1:30 at the home and at 2:00 at Parkersburg Christian Reformed Church. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. George Hulzebos, nee Annie Schipper, was born December 13, 1874, in The Netherlands and was married September 27, 1898. The family came to America in 1906 and made their home for one year at Ellsworth, Minn., before coming to Austinville, Iowa. Ten years ago they came to Parkersburg. She became seriously ill about four months ago and passed away Monday noon. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, and three brothers. She is survived by her husband; seven daughters, Effie, at home, Mrs. Wiegert (Johanna) Siebenga of Parkesburg, Mrs. Devinnie DeVries of Austinville, Mrs. Lucas (Rena) DeVries of New Hartford, Mrs. Henry (Elizabeth) of Aplington, Mrs. Kobus (Martha) Nevenhoven of Austinville, and Mrs. Harm (Gertrude) Hovenga of Dumont; fourteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Rena Burenga of Austin, Minn., Mrs. George (Martha) Koppedreyer of Austinville, and Mrs. Effie Nagen of Renville, Min References
