Mr. Anthony Guy “Tony” Nance, 40, of 344 Hale Street, Burlington, went home to be with the Lord after a sudden illness on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at his residence.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Teresa Dawn Nance, and he was the son of the late William Harden Nance and Carolyn Ola Nance, who survives.

He was owner and operator of Affordable Towing in Burlington and attended Eastlawn Baptist Church. He was an avid car enthusiast and drag racer at Piedmont Dragway.

In addition to his wife, of the home and his mother, of Mebane, he is survived by three daughters, Taylor Nicole Nance, Brooke Logan Nance and Ashely Megan Nance, all of the home. He is also survived by his sister, Bobbie Lynch and her husband, Robert, of Fuqua Varina; his brothers, Mike Stanley and his wife, Gayle, of Snow Camp and Keith Nance and his wife, Sharon, of Graham.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Nance.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 11:00 am in the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be the Rev. Terry Prichard. Burial will follow at 4:00 pm in Myers Cemetery in Austinville, Virginia.

The family will receive friends at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home in Graham on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Other times they will be at the residence.
