  8. Even though the death record gives the birth location as Warwick, MA, the place of birth is given as N.H. in a couple of census records (and Mass. in others). Births of children in his parents' family don't start getting recorded in Warwick until 1817, and a deed dated Dec 1808 (i.e., four months AFTER Ansel was born) shows his father "of Winchester" buying land in Warwick (Franklin deed Vol. 28, p. 367). So the death record appears incorrect as to the birth location.
