- ↑ Maiden name assumed to be Palmer because mentioned in marriage record, and she named a son Palmer in her second marriage. There is an Anna Palmer, d/o Bezaleel Palmer of Scituate, b. 1735. Her father's probate is in 1752 at which time she is not married, and she was paid money in lieu of her share of real estate, so hard to trace. However, one would think she is too old to marry a man b. 1748, and that a birth around 1750 would be more typical, suggesting it is a different person.
