Obituary

Anna Sichterman Laug was born January 22, 1890 in this vicinity and departed this life August 7, 1920, aged 30 years, 8 months and 16 days.
She was married to John A. Laug June 12, 1913 and to this union were born three children, two daughters and a son: She leaves to mourn her departure a loving and kind husband, the children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Sichterman, four brothers and one sister: the Rev. Sichterman of Indianapolis, Ind., Harry of Grand Rapids, Jacob of Denver, Colo., Sie of Grand Rapids and Miss Grace Sichterman of Coopersville, and a host of relatives and friends.
At the age of sixteen years she became a member in full communion of the Reformed Church of Coopersville and to the last has remained faithful to her trust, was always ready to do her part for the work of her Saviour and Master. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society, the Christian Endeavor Society and of the Sunday school. She was a kind, lovable wife and mother who performed her duties pertaining to the church, home and her children in a quiet and unassuming manner. In this home circle and in the neighborhood she will be sorely missed. However, how happy is the thought to know that as she herself expressed it, she was ready to go to meet the Supreme ruler of heaven beautiful and of a surety we know that she is waiting for us to join her there.
