EMIGRATION: Sailed from Dome(?) Holland, migrating to Berk Co., Pennsylvania. T hey landed in Philadelphia on the ship Neptune, with John Mason, Master from Ro tterdam, last from Cowes, on 24 Sep 1753 (not later than some time in the early part of 1754). The family then moved to Catawba Co., North Carolina, not later than 1760. The original spelling of the name is said to have been Bolich.
