Janie was a daughter of Richard Lawrence Pass (1898-1978) and Merle Susan Deisch (1894-1966) of Three Rivers, St. Joseph, Michigan.

OBITUARY:
Anna Jane (Pass) Gunn, 76, of Belmond, Iowa, and formerly of Battle Creek, a former Federal Home Life Insurance Co. employee, died Monday, Jan. 30, 1995, in Belmond Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Gunn was born March 7, 1918, in Three Rivers to Richard and Merle (Deisch) Pass. She graduated from White Pigeon High School and attended business college in Kalamazoo.

She married Alford B. Gunn on May 5, 1943, in Camp Howze, Texas. They lived for a short time in Kalamazoo after World War II. They moved many times, both stateside and in Germany and Japan, in 26 years after he re-enlisted in the Army. She worked at the post exchange in Fort Carson, Colo., and Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. They then moved to Battle Creek, where she worked for Federal Home Life Insurance Co. They moved to Belmond, Iowa, in 1990.
