↑ There is a great variation in reports of her death date. The History of LexingtonS2 reports 20 Aug 1775. Under Smith, the Lexington RecordsS1, p. 201, give this date for "Jonathan Jr.'s ch.". Meanwhile, Source:Parker, Theodore. Genealogy and Biographical Notes of John Parker of Lexington and His Descendants, p. 68, says Anna d. as a widow in Waltham 10 Jun 1768. No such death is recorded in Waltham VRs, but in Lexington VRs is found: "Smith, Anna, June 10, 1768", which clearly gives no identification of which Anna Smith it is that died on that date. The History of Lexington says Benjamin had died "before 15 Apr. 1766". Meanwhile, the Lexington records also contain the death of an unidentified Anna at 73 years on 18 Apr 1792 and as the match of age at death to Anna's birth date is excellent, and so this may be the most likely of the three dates?
