DEATH SUMMONS ANNIE AMBROSE
FORMER LOCAL WOMAN SUCCUMBS AT TOLEDO, O., MONDAY
Mrs. Annie Ambrose, 86, former resident of this city, passed away in Toledo, Ohio, Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, friends and relatives in this city have been informed. Mrs. Ambrose was an aunt of M.L. Claypool and Miss Anna Cord of this city.
She was born near Wingate, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry McClure. She was united in marriage to Lewis Ambrose who preceded her in death. Six months ago she was taken ill. Death was due to infirmities of old age.
The body will be brought to the Utterback & Murphy mortuary in this city. Funeral services will be held at the Trinity M.F. church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. F.G. Howard of Lebanon, a former resident of this city. The Womens' Relief Corps will have charge of a part of the services.
The body will lie in state for an hour preceding the services. Friends who desire to view the remains may do so at this time as the casket will be closed when the services begins.
