    (Special to the Times-Dispatch)

BOYDTON, VA., April 28.---Mrs. Annie L. Skipwith, widow of the late Fulwar Skipwith, died at her home "Protestant," last night, after a short illness. Mrs. Skipwith was about 65 years old. She was a Miss Ledyard and was raised in Mobile, Ala. She was married there about 1860. She leaves one son and three daughters. They are: Austin S. Skipwith, Mrs. Helen Halstead, Mrs. Annie Heidlebury and Mrs. Jean Staples. The deceased had been an ernest and consistent member of the Episcopal Church for many years. Yesterday not long before the end, she was calm and appeared perfectly resigned. A beautiful exhibition of her Christian character shown out fully. Yet when she requested her minister, who was with her, to administer to her the Holy Communion, telling him at the time that it was her desire to partake of it, then for the last time with the loved ones on earth.

She will be buried to-morrow afternoon at 4 o'clock at "Prestwould," the ancestral home of the Skipwiths.
