    8 Jan 1914, p 2 - OBITUARY. Anna, daughter of Christian and Elizabeth Herr, was born in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, August 25, 1836. She came to Indiana with her parents when but three years of age and with them located on a farm about five miles northwest of Cambridge City. She was united in holy matrimony with John Graver, Jan. 29, 1856, and began their married life on the farm near Pleasant Hill church, where they resided until the death of Mr. Graver, August 3 1881. To this union was born four daughters and one son. After the death of her husband she remained on the farm and kept her family together, and with the aid of her son-in-law, Andrew Zeigler and wife, managed the estate left by her husband, until Sept. 10, 1885, when she was married to John Zimmerman, and together they continued on the farm until the death of Mr. Zimmerman, which occurred January 22, 1906. After the death of her second husband she made her home with her son, C. H. Graver, who had acquired the home farm and resided on same until October, 1909, when Mr. Graver removed to Cambridge City and she came with him and continued to make her home with him until her death, which occurred on the morning of January 6, 1914, at the age of 77 years, 4 months, 11 days. She was brought up by her parents in the faith of the Brethren in Christ and embraced this faith by uniting with the church over 40 years ago, in which faith she remained steadfast until she fell asleep in her Saviour's arms. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Andrew K. Zeigler, north of Dublin, and Mrs. Moses E. Myers, northwest of Cambridge City, and one son, C.H. Graver, of Cambridge City, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Tow daughters, Amanda G. and Anna G. Peirce, and one granddaughter, Clara Wiker, have preceeded her to the spirit world. Funeral services will be conducted at the Locust Grove church this (Thursday) morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Boyer, of Dayton, and Rev. Hollopeter, will officiate. The cortege will leave the home in this city at 9 o'clock. Interment in the Locust Grove cemetery.
