Mrs. Annie Moore.
Mrs. Annie MOORE, 79, died last week in a convalescent home in Dodge City.
Born August 29, 1863, on a farm ten miles southwest of Topeka, she attend the Six-Mile school and Washburn academy. In 1884, she was married to W.A.C. Moore. After residing on a farm near Auburn for years, the family moved to Hodgeman county and lived on a farm a mile west of Jetmore for 20 years. She then moved to Johnson county where she resided until she returned to Jetmore six years ago. Her husband died in 1939.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Della RUMFORD, Dodge City; Mrs. Esther BICKEL, Norton, and Mrs. Mary SINCLAIR, Pendleton, Ore.; three sons, Sam Moore, Kingman, Howard Moore, Tampa, Fla., and Earl Moore, Ulysses; 22 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two half-brothers, Lewis WHITTEN and Luther Whitten, route 9, Topeka and two nieces, Rose and Jennie ALLEN, Topeka.
Burial was at Jetmore.
