Ann's maiden name and origins have yet to be established. Some time in late 1726 or early 1727 she married widower named John Chapman, a yeoman who lived at Benington in Hertfordshire. He had three young daughter from his first marriage. Ann and John's marriage would be very short; he was buried in August 1727. The following month Ann renounced her right to administer his estate, apparently including the guardianship of her three stepdaughters.^[1]

Ann has yet to be traced after September 1727.
