Obit taken from the Bryan Press, Thursday, Sept. 30, 1886, pg. 1 Died --On Friday, Sept. 10th, 1886, of cancer of the stomach, Mrs. Anna M. Braley, of Amboy, Mich., aged 69 years and 22 days. Thus the old pioneers are going one by one. Mrs. Braley had been a resident of Ohio and Michigan for nearly a half century, having moved to a farm near Toledo when Toledo was a very small town, and from there to a farm in Williams County, thence to Amboy, Mich., where she resided until her death. She was honest and upright, and an esteemed lady. The funeral was held at the Pleasant View church on Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Slough, using the word "Eternity" for his text, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Kintigh cemetery by the side of her husband who died about eight years since.
