Ann Mayers' origins have yet to be established. Her only confirmed sighting is on 13th December 1799, when she married an upholsterer called Evan Timothy in the city of London, at the church of St Alphage, London Wall. Ann's abode at the time of their marriage was given as Godalming in Surrey. Ann has yet to be traced after their marriage. By 1841 Evan was living with a woman called Katherine.
