In Ashaway, R. I., Mrs. Ann Frances Kenyon Lewis, daughter of the late Dr. Joseph D. and Frances Noyes Kenyon, and widow of Dr. Daniel Lewis, son of Dea. Christopher C. Lewis, born Nov. 5, 1824, died Dec. 5, 1884. She was one of twelve who joined the First Seventh-day Baptist Church of Hopkinton, Nov. 27, 1841.
She was married to Dr. Lewis May 24, 1846; and her husband died Aug. 16, 1859, leaving her a little boy, now Dr. James N. Lewis of Ashaway. For over fourteen years previous to her death her eyesight was very poor she being able to read but very little. She is spoken of as quiet and retiring, interested in the Christian church and religion, patient, reconciled, and ready to go and be 'at rest.' A. E. M.
