[Note: gender is incorrect as subsequent records show. Further, this date is less than 7 months prior to the birth of sister Mary. The recording of several children in Grafton even though born in Southboro may indicate these were recorded after the fact. The 1850 census, the one closest to his birth, shows Mary to be age 17 as expected, but Angelo is 19, suggested his birth year was at least 1831, if not 1830. What records can befound about his sister Mary seems to consistently indicate her birth was in 1833 (age 19 when married 1852, 22 in 1855 state census). If given that, 1832 is an impossible birth for Angelo, so 1831 is presumed on that basis. It is assumed at some point, Angelo himself came to believe 1832 was correct, since later records seem fairly consistent with that date.]
