Andrew1 Hidden was of Rowley as early as 31 : 3 mo. 1649, when was in court for striking "another man's servant" (Essex Ct. Files). He was about 40 years old, 1662 (Ct. R.), … His homestead, in 1666, was on the easterly corner of Pleasant and Main Street (Essex Deeds, 4 Ips.:44). He died 18 Feb. (20 Feb., Ch. R.), 1702. His will, dated 18 Feb., 1701-2, mentions wife, Sarah, and son Ebenezer; other children are implied but not named (Essex Probate, 307:418).
