Creek, 64, of Alvordton, died Wednesday in the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo. He was born Sept. 30, 1908 in Montpelier, the son of Roy and Hattie (Lash) Creek, and worked most of his life as an auto mechanic. His membership was with the United Brethren Church, Alvordton. The widow, Dorotha, survives along with three sons, LaVern and Elmer Creek, both of route 1 West Unity, and Norman Creek, Fayette; two sisters Mrs. Ethel Burcham, route 3 Montpelier, and Mrs. Helen Banks, route 2 Camden, Mich.; 15 grandchildren and one great grandson. The Rev. Harvey Hacker, of Garrett, Ind., will officiate at the 2 p.m. services Saturday in Hollingshead Mortuary. Burial is to follow in Floral Grove Cemetery here.
