May 2, 2004 Amy Harmon, age 63, of Wichita Falls passed away Friday, April 30, 2004, in Hospice of Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2004, at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City. Amy was born Dec. 31, 1940, in Edinburg, Texas, to Victor Williamson and Amy Quinn Williamson. She was employed as the traffic director for Channel 6 for over 10 years. She and Jay W. Harmon were married in Henrietta, Texas. In 1979, she and her husband, Jay, moved to Bowie, Texas and purchased and operated KBAN radio station. He preceded her in death in 1981. Survivors include: one daughter, Debbie Miller of Carrollton, Texas; three sons, Douglas Jay Harmon, and wife, Julie of Wichita Falls, Victor Chance Harmon of New York City and Phillip Jay Harmon of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Mrs. Deany Mahan of Center Ridge, Ark., and Elizabeth Fullerton and husband, Ray of Morrilton, Ark.; five granddaughters, Jacey Leeann Harmon, Lydia Quinn Harmon, Christy Harmon, Tracey Lindsay, and Davie King; two grandsons, Blake Miller and Toby Harmon; and a multitude of friends and family who will cherish their memory of Amy.
