AMBROSE COOK, son of Isaac and Jerusha Cook, married Esther Peck. He died at the age of 78, March 5, 1824. She died Sept. 13, 1822, ae. 78.

All four notices in this source have him dying in March 1824, age 80 which is somewhat more consistent with the date of birth given by Jacobus and in the Barbour Collection. The source for the 1746 date given by Davis does not appear.
