    Clarksville (Special)--Funeral services were held at First Presbyterian Church here Friday afternoon for Lt. Alvin Y. Tillman, Jr. 21, husband of the former Miss Isobel Farrier here. He was killed with 10 others last Sunday night in the crash of the Army transport plane he was piloting near his base at Sedalia, Mo. Interment was made in Clarksville Cemetery.

    A descendant of the Clark family which founded this place, Lt. Tillman was born at Wright City, Okla., the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. Tillman, now living at Menard. He graduated last January from the Eagle Pass Army Flying School, receiving his wings and commission, and he married shortly afterwards.

    Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents, are two sisters, Misses Sadie and Margaret Tillman of Menard, and a brother, Frank, stationed with the Army somewhere in California.

    SIX TEXANS DIE IN PLANE CRASH

    Sedalia, Mo., Sept. 7---The 11 victims of an army plane crash Sunday night 12 miles south of Sedalia were identified Tuesday by Lt. W. John Duffy, public relations officer at the Sedalia army airfield.

    The plane, a C-53 troop carrier, disintegrated after an explosion high above the Bahner neighborhood. It was from the Sedalia field.

    Those killed included:

    1st Lt. Alvin Y. Tillman, Jr., pilot, Menard, Tex.

    1st. Lt. Donald F. Parks, Akron, Ohio, wife residing temporarily in Austin, Tex.

    Tech. Sgt. Orville L. Clayton, Bandera, Tex.

    Cpl. Emmett W. Reynolds, Handley, Tex.

    Elwood Brooks, Henrietta, Tex., apprentice seaman.

    Walter Theodore Wingigsted, Clifton, Tex., apprentice seaman.
