↑ Alvin is not named in his father's will and has not been located in the 1850 census (certainly not living with his parents). There is a Find A Grave memorial that shows an Alvin Davis buried in Fitchburg in 1822 but there is no image of the gravestone, it is based on a cemetery record, apparently. Besides the "needs verification" comment on the memorial page, there is no age or other identification to say if it is the same person.
