This is from my personal records. She was born at Smithfield,Cache,Utah. The family had spent New Years Day At the Fullmers, was late getting home.Grandma was tired from the trip. They sent the older boys 5 And 7 out to get some wood out of the wood shed. And they was tired to. They went in the shed to get the wood, OK, tired, cold out, dark and half asleep, the light was weak. OK, After they went in the shed, They knew that the world had just come to an end, when the Old white horse just had to go and stick its head in the shed and let out a snort. It Scared the boys they threw the light at that white thing. went screaming to the house that a Ghost was in the shed and after them. Grandma she lost it all, trying to calm down two screaming and pale looking boys, grandpa went to investagate with gun. He found the Ghost and he just had to laugh all the way back to the house taking an arm load of wood with him. to heat the house, Grandma didn't think it was so funny. For she was tired and the house was cold and Grandpa was laughing himself silly two screaming boys, The older girls was about 3 and 8 they didn't know what to do or what was going on. it made Grandma go into labor, Mom was born just after midnight.
